Michayla has extensive experience helping adult survivors of childhood abuse or neglect, healthcare workers, as well as those who have been victims of crime. She also enjoys working with children, teenagers, and young adults, providing tailored support to help them deal with their unique experiences, and incorporates parents into her work with children for a holistic approach.

Michayla’s Training & Experience

Michayla has over eight years of experience in the clinical field. She studied psychology and criminal justice at East Stroudsburg University and began her career as a mobile therapist for at-risk youth. She later worked with inmates, leading Drug and Alcohol Education and Anger Management groups. Michayla earned her master's degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College. She has also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, and Mindfulness-based Play-Family Therapy. Now in private practice, she is committed to ongoing professional development and further training.
